West Hartford Is Ready For 100% Clean Renewable Energy

Ready For 100 West Hartford is a movement of people working to inspire our local leaders to embrace a vision of a West Hartford powered by 100% clean and renewable energy.

 

WHY THIS MATTERS
Each day, the world's climate challenges intensify. Fossil-fuel use and greenhouse gas emissions continue. Our federal government fails to lead. We need cities, businesses, and individuals to take the lead.

130 communities, 10 counties, 7 states (HI, CA, NM, NV, WA, NY, and ME), DC, and Puerto Rico have committed to a transition to 100% clean energy, 28% of the U.S. population - or 1 in 4 people in America - now live in a community committed to 100% clean energy. It's time for West Hartford to do the same.

West Hartford is ready for 100% clean energy! The Town of West Hartford has already reduced energy use through efficiency measures and ramped up rooftop solar on municipal and school buildings. Many residents have done the same. But, we can do more. est Hartford can transition to a 100% clean and renewable future.
