Debunking Clean Energy Disinformation

Tell EPA to Set Strong Air Quality Standards for Particulate Matter
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has proposed a weak update to the National Ambient Air Quality Standards for Particulate Matter (PM2.5 or soot). Soot is a dangerous pollutant that threatens our health and environment. Learn more about PM2.5 and what needs to be done to keep Connecticut safe and healthy.
CT and NY Gas Pipeline Proposal Threat to Climate, Public Health, and Safety
Addressing climate change requires an all out effort to decarbonize by reducing the use of fossil fuels. ICYMI: Valentine's Day Rally Recap
Sierra Club Connecticut held a Valentine’s Day rally outside of the Capitol Area System (CAS) building to a crowd of roughly 40 people. Community members engaged with us to make Valentine's Day cards for the Governor to tell him to break up with fossil fuels!
Things are moving fast and furious at the Capitol now that public hearing season is in full swing. We have seen some good bills heard in the Environment Committee, Energy and Technology Committee, and Housing Committee. Get an update on some of these bills we’re following.
Take a look at all the highlights from Sierra Club Connecticut’s current campaigns and what we’ve been working on this last month. As always, thank you to all of our volunteers — we couldn’t do this without you!
Sierra Club CT and Sunrise CT invite you to join our Book Club discussing the book “Consumed: The Need for Collective Change: Colonialism, Climate Change, and Consumerism" by Aja Barber.
